There are some good photos on today's BBC web site.

The Pedersen bicycle is interesting. The Danish blacksmith Jesper Solling has apparently built 6,000 of these bikes over 30 years up to 2008 and now he says his biggest customer, the German importer Kalle Kalkhoff, has stolen production.

Whether it's beautiful I'm not sure. Perhaps it is.

Hi, Kern. Was that link sent to you via 'Cycle Clips'? Are you an overseas member of the UK's CTC?

I can't say I can see much beauty in the 'Iconnu'. And it's hardly practical as a folder either if it takes an hour to fold. Some nice stuff, though.

Hi Chris. I stumbled on the link this morning when I needed a break and checked out the BBC news site. No CTC membership I'm afraid. ("I wouldn't belong to a club ..." etc.) 🙂

It would be easy to waste a lot of time on this site! I just have! 🙂

The Pedersen to my eyes is unspeakably vile!!

Actually I agree with you Garry. It's a contraption made of tent poles. Of the bikes illustrated by the BBC, only the Cinetica and Bianchi are what I'd call beautiful.
