Iceland is certainly recommended by adventurous cycle tourists. Bobby Fischer retired there too apparently. An excellent round-up Dan. There is clearly much more to it than geysers and ice. Well done with the trip and fundraising.

Yes, great stuff Dan.
Iceland has long been on my list of places I want to go as has northern Norway. I've always been attracted to wild, rugged places but Dennis unfortunately isn't. Iceland is also a noted birdwatching destination altho Bill Oddie gave them rather bad PR by being filmed wet and shivering as he peered into the mist trying to see birds – and this was June!
